While the baby itself is a beautiful, miraculous person they don’t come with accessories. When you find yourself in that situation it can be scary, overwhelming and of immense concern. Te Ara Poutama AEC birthed the idea of Baby Blessings as a way to, well, bless you.We have available second-hand items such as prams, car-seats, toys and clothing for children up to 5 years of age. These items are free.
We only ask that once you have finished with them, that you return them so we can bless someone else, but if the item has been worn-out – no drama.
A referral form must be completed by either Plunket, CYFS, your midwife, a church or another agency. Referral forms are available by emailing: tap.babyblessings@xtra.co.nz
